What is wellness coaching?

 Wellness coaching is a partnership between a coach and a client.  The client sets the agenda and the coach helps dreams and ideas become reality and lasting change.


How does wellness coaching work?

Coaching is done over the phone, usually in one hour sessions once a week. 


How can wellness coaching benefit me?

It is difficult for us to be objective about ourselves and it is difficult to create lasting change alone.  Coaching provides the perspective and accountability that can help you succeed.


How do the fees work?

After a brief, complimentary session, I recommend you sign up for the monthly standard plan which includes four sessions a month.  I also provide single, power sessions that last 75 minutes.


Is my information confidential?

Absolutely!  Your information will never be shared with anyone else (except maybe my dog!).


How long will I need coaching?

I recommend that you commit to at least four months of coaching because that is the minimum time needed to make lasting lifestyle changes.  On the other hand, my goal is to help you become independent.  I will provide a smooth transition into self-reliance.  And, if you need to come back, my door is always open!


How is this different than just a diet or exercise plan?

Most diet and exercise plans simply tell you what to do.  Knowing what to do usually isn't the problem - it's actually doing it!  That's where coaching comes in.


I am a member of Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, etc.  Can I still do wellness coaching?

Absolutely!  In fact, coaching is a very effective supplement to any plan you are on. 


I just found out I have a food allergy/ intolerance.  Can you help me?

You bet!  I personally have had to relearn how to shop, cook, and eat after discovering a gluten intolerance more than five years ago.  I can help you learn how to thrive despite your dietary limitations as well.


I'm not looking to win any marathons.  Is wellness coaching still for me?

Of course:)  Wellness coaching is about optimizing your wellness, not trying to mold you into an Olympian (unless that's your goal, of course!).


Do you have a referral program?

I sure do!  I appreciate you referring your friends or family to me.  Ask them to mention your name and you will receive a free 60 minute session!
